Conversation starters: Dia de Los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) is celebrated on November 2nd in Mexico and Central America, and in latino communities around the world  The holiday is an opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives of departed loved ones -- and despite its name -- is a celebration of life, not death.

Dia de Los Muertos Icons: flowers (especially marigolds and roses), skulls, hearts, monarch butterflies, keyholes, tear drops and paisley shapes, diamonds, moths, candles, food

Ideas: draw, paint, cut out and paste your own additional icons, such as: guitars, bottles, chili peppers, sombreros, cacti
